Green Darner Dragonfly Necklace

Green Darner Dragonfly (Anax junius)

This common dragonfly is the state insect of Washington. Every year I find a handful of mostly intact. Dragonflies or they are gifted to me and this is one of them. Found in Skagit County in some cattails at a lakes edge. 

Electroplated in pure copper and suspended from a vintage welded solid 16" brass curb chain from the 60's
